I’m a positive pragmatist and a cynical optimist. These oxymorons describe the faith I cling to and the doubt that often interferes. It also explains how I often hope for the best but sometimes let negative self-talk do its worst. My push pull feelings are me fighting and healing from mental illness.
I am healing from postpardum depression. It’s been a long road, and as I’ve finally surfaced from the deep drowning of hopelessness, I’ve vowed to help others swim to the safety of the shore.
